So far 97 students have taken the survey between the ages of 11 and 19. The majority of the people who took the survey said that they do not use drugs(in a harmful manner). However that doesn't change the fact that there is a percentage of those who do.

Summary:
All of this info. may be a bit overwhelming, so here is what these statistics tell us: there are numerous
students just in a few social studies classes that have come into some contact with drugs in there life whether from seeing them
to actually doing them. The reasons vary (but all of them are important) from doing what friends do, to trying to
be in the "in-crowd", to trying to get by, and other reasons that we are not aware of at the current moment.
Important Points:
29 have done drugs in the last 3 months
3 aren't sure if they are addict and one actually thinks they are, THESE ARE HIGH SCHOOLERS!!!
WE HAVE PROOF THAT MARIJUANA IS THE MOST POPULAR DRUG USED FOR TEENS (25 tried marijuanna
For the most part students get there drugs from either a friend or themselves, however the so also get them from their family
( do they get them from a member directly or take them?)
Statistics: ATTENTION...ALL INFO ONLY COMES FROM ABOUT 5% OF THE POPULATION OF THE ENTIRE SCHOOL
44.3% have considered taking drugs
31.6% have tried drugs
23.2% plan to continue drugs
32.6% have seen drugs
Goals:
Educate students of the dangers of drugs if they abused/continued to abuse them....leads to drop 3% of consideration of taking drugs by the end of the year
Give guidance to stop those who are doing drugs...drop 3% of continued and tried drugs by the end of the year
DROP ALL THESE PERCENTAGES AND KEEP THEM LOW TO ZERO!!!
